BACKGROUND

The Government of Indonesia issued President Regulation No. 82/2020 and created a policy committee for the handling of COVID-19 and National Economic Recovery. That translates into the restructuring of the previous Taskforce to sit under the new committee and the establishment of an Economic Recovery Taskforce. With the two-prong model, the Government aims to manage the disease transmission and while concurrently optimizing its support to citizens through responsive social protection services/ schemes.

The Program Assistant will report to the Program Coordinator but will also be closely supporting the work and activities of the Training and Mentoring Officer, MEL Officer and Financial Services and Business Development Program Officer. The Program Assistant will carry out administrative, finance and procurement tasks, as well as, translating and documenting letters, training modules, field reports, meeting minutes, beneficiaries counting and filing.

Training and Mentoring Program Officer will support the Program Coordinator to develop or modify education materials on Nutrition and Self-care to manage the family’s health and COVID-19 risk prevention. S/he will work with the program officer to conduct Training of Trainers for at least 100 midwives and 500 health cadres, and deliver training and mentoring (through offline and online channels) on self-care education for 3,100 urban poor women.
