Facilitator For Ekosistem Keuangan Inklusif (Code: 024-STRIVE-FEKI)
General Position Summary
The Facilitator for Ekosistem Keuangan Inklusif (EKI) will support Strive Indonesia's Program Manager to coordinate and support the process of identification of MSEs at villages selected as pilot locations in West Java and East Java. The facilitator for EKI also works on implementing Strive Indonesia's strategy of digitalization, access to credit, and strengthening an entrepreneurial support ecosystem. S/he will support the field implementation and operations of the Strive Indonesia-EKI pilot program, including program coordination with OJK, local government agencies, financial services providers, small business associations, and other related partners; organize socialization, training, and meeting activities in coordination with the Training and Mentoring and MERL teams; support field-based data management protocols for MERL; and provide evidence-based learning for knowledge management and communications. In addition, he or she will be responsible as an extended MERL team to verify and/or monitor partners’ performance in the context of data quality in collaboration with the program MERL team based in Jakarta.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Support the program implementation of Strive Indonesia-EKI including implementation of the MEL Plan for program activities, outputs, and outcomes, including appropriate methodologies and data collection frequency.
Support Program Manager to ensure MSEs engaged in the program (40% are women) and reached through digitalization campaign.
Support Program Manager to ensure MSEs (40% are women) have access to training and mentoring on financial/digital literacy through digital and hybrid platforms.
Support Program Manager to ensure MSEs (40% are women) received financial/digital adoption coaching and support.
Support Sr. Training & Mentoring Officer in coordinating and preparing socialization and training activities.
Support Knowledge Management and Communications Coordinator to publish an EKI implementation report for OJK.
Support Knowledge Management and Communication Coordinator to capture and publish stories related to EKI implementation.
Support Program Manager to prepare bi-weekly report on project progress, challenges, and recommendations.
Support Program Manager to prepare required data for Quarterly M&E Impact Report and Final Monitoring and Evaluation Report based on donor and Mission Measurement templates.
Manage program data and files in accordance with the MCI standard filing structure in the Synology storage platform or MCI Data Center.
Support the provision of data needed for program monitoring, evaluation, research, learning, communication, and report.
Maintain close regular contact with OJK, local government agencies, financial services providers, key partners, and local community partners to ensure quality outputs/services and trouble shoot any administrative problems.
Attend coordination meetings and maintain regular contact with relevant stakeholders.
Conduct travel to project locations to monitor quality of implementation and adjust plans and approaches to meet the program objectives.
Assist in any other task or duty assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
University degree in Agriculture, Social Studies, Economic, Business, or other relevant field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as Field or Program Officer, or Field Facilitator.
Have experience with community, private sector, and government engagement.
Have experience in delivering training would be an advantage.
Have experience to collect, analysis, and manage big program participants (> 100,000 participants) data would be an advantage.
Have knowledge on Mercy Corps’ PM@MC 2.0 would be an advantage.
Have experience with digital financial services, digital marketing, digital training and mentoring would be an advantage.
Proven experience digital data collection tools, include data visualization system/dashboard.
Good problem solving and written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work without constant supervision and as part of a mixed team.
Good knowledge of MS Office software and Mercy Corps Indonesia digital data.
Able to write and understandable spoken English are preferred.

The successful candidate will deliver quality work, have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with the YMCI team, program partners and program participants. S/he needs to be creative, a self-starter, a team player showing flexibility and open-mindedness yet focused on achieving objectives and disciplined about following regulations and meeting organizational standards. S/he will be highly motivated and motivate others to build the resilience of MEs.
Living Conditions / Environmental Conditions
The position is based in respective district area in West Java & East Java and requires up to 100% travel to program locations in surrounding areas.
