Cybersecurity and Digital Training Officer – MicroMentor Indonesia

Under the leadership of the Program Coordinator, the Cybersecurity and Digital Training Officer will be responsible for the development of various digital training tools and contents on cybersecurity and business development for MSMEs based on needs of micro and small entrepreneurs (mentees) and mid-career professional (mentors) and work closely with partners. The Cybersecurity and Digital Training Officer will also responsible to implement and improve the cybersecurity and digital training contents along with the partners to create and monitor the engagement of users in achieving the program targets to create 35.000 engagements. S/he will also support the migration of MicroMentor Indonesia new platform together with MicroMentor Indonesia team and provide cybersecurity and digital training contents for marketing purpose.

 

Essential Job Function:

Collaborate closely with in with the donors, partners, MicroMentor global team, and MicroMentor Indonesia community to develop and implement the cybersecurity and digital training contents, as well as find the right approach in achieving the program targets, including:

 

  • Support the Migration of new MicroMentor Indonesia platform to MicroMentor global platform, and assess local language readability and contextualization;
  • Lead the adoption of SME Cybersecurity Toolkit in MicroMentor platform and work closely with Global Cyber Alliance and MicroMentor global team;
  • Lead the development of Training of Trainers (ToT) on SME Cybersecurity Toolkit to mentors and partners and conduct it to relevant partners and mentors;
  • Define the needs of users (mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs) to develop webinar series on cybersecurity and entrepreneurship;
  • Enhance the current Mentor/Mentee Masterclass Webinar on how to create an effective business mentoring;
  • Conduct the Mentor/Mentee Masterclass to users/potential users and partners;
  • Create the strategy to enhance the engagement of the cybersecurity and digital training contents;
  • Support cybersecurity and digital training contents to Digital Marketing and Administration Officer as well as National IT Support for MicroMentor social media and platform updates on Cybersecurity and Digital Training contents;
  • Coordinate and support ongoing monitoring and evaluation efforts—gathering, analyzing, and reporting on users feedback and program data, based on cybersecurity and digital training activities;
  • Support on reporting the initiative outcomes to stakeholders such as donors, partners and beneficiaries, among others;
  • Represent Mercy Corps Indonesia (MCI) and the program, and build positive, fruitful relationships when engaging with the program’s stakeholders and beneficiaries, including entrepreneurs/MSMEs and mid-career professionals as MicroMentor Indonesia users, government officials, private sector actors, donor officials, media, etc. Conduct himself/herself both professionally in such a manner as to bring credibility to MCI without jeopardizing its humanitarian/development mission.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA or equivalent in economic development, international development, or relevant field;
  • Experience in entrepreneurship programs or start up development programs;
  • 2 years of experience in cybersecurity and entrepreneurship training;
  • Mastering to work on digital training would be an advantage;
  • Great organizational and communication skills;
  • Proven experience organizing events will be preferred;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Facility with web and information technologies, including social media tools and web-based tools such as Salesforce.com, Vertical Response, and Microsoft Office suite;
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds;
  • English and Bahasa Indonesia fluency. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
